Held in Lahore, Day 1 brought together a 21-designer collective, showcases by Sania Maskatiya and Deepak Perwani and an invite-only closing presentation by Nilofer Shahid’s Meeras
AAM Fashion Week Season 2 opened in Lahore with LFW Presents: Starry Night, in which 21 designers each showed a single look inspired by the night sky. Midnight blue, black, charcoal and deep purple dominated the palette, lifted by crystals, sequins and metallic surfaces. Participants included HSY, Khaadi, Fahad Hussayn, Faiza Samee and Zainab Chottani, along with Sania Maskatiya, Deepak Perwani and Meeras by Nilofer Shahid, who went on to present fuller collections later in the day.
The evening designer showcase began with Maskatiya’s LALEH, marking the label’s return to the Lahore runway after several years. Painterly prints, bright colours, layered styling and traditional gota work were applied to contemporary silhouettes. Maskatiya, Creative Director and Co-Founder of the label, said the collection was a chance to push the brand’s familiar approach to print, colour and craft. Perwani followed with LEGACY, a formal menswear collection inspired by royal dress and Maharaja-era traditions, pairing heritage details with tailored, modern cuts. Saira Rizwan and MIHHA also showed in the evening line-up.

Day 1 closed with LFW By Invite Only, featuring Meeras by Nilofer Shahid. The presentation examined colonialism, identity and cultural reclamation through four periods: the Nawab Era, drawing on Mughal and Sikh Lahore with ghararas, peshwaz and jama-inspired tunics in jewel tones and gold; the colonial period, with European-influenced jackets, high collars, gowns and capes in regimental reds, navy and khaki; the post-colonial years, tracing chiffon saris, maxi dresses and flared trousers from 1950s pastels to 1970s earth tones and 1980s monochromes and Modern Pakistan, which combined saris, ghararas and jeans with embellished jackets, corsets and asymmetric silhouettes.
