Cetaphil took its gentle skincare message from the shelf to the stage at Spotify I-Pop Icons Live, the Spotify Premium Experience held at Mehboob Studios, Mumbai, on August 21

The skincare brand created an immersive installation at the music event, bringing together skincare, music and self-expression as it connected with a younger audience. The event featured performances by Anuv Jain, Harrdy Sandhu, Rashmeet Kaur, Paresh Pahuja and Taaruk Raina

The association is part of Cetaphil’s effort to engage consumers beyond traditional skincare conversations and show up in spaces that are already part of their interests. Music is a key passion point for consumers of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (GSC), making Spotify a natural fit for the brand’s on-ground engagement

At the installation, Cetaphil highlighted the importance of gentle cleansing as part of maintaining healthy skin. The brand pointed to research showing that harsh face washes can damage the skin barrier and make skin more sensitive, while Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser is designed to cleanse gently while helping strengthen the skin barrier

The event also extended Cetaphil’s existing association with Spotify from digital engagement into a physical consumer experience, allowing the brand to take its skincare conversation into a live cultural setting

The move comes at a time when younger consumers are increasingly exploring skincare as part of their wider self-care routines. According to Cetaphil, 23% of Indian Gen Z consumers find it challenging to choose the right skincare products, while 33% are placing greater emphasis on lifestyle changes such as a healthy diet and sleep to manage skin concerns

For Cetaphil, the focus remains on helping consumers make informed skincare choices rather than simply following the latest beauty trends. The brand draws on 79 years of experience in sensitive skin, with its formulations supported by more than 1,000 clinical studies and testing involving over 49,000 subjects

Commenting on the association, Viju Nair, Business Unit Director, Consumer & E-commerce, Galderma India, said, “At Galderma, our purpose is advancing dermatology for every skin story. With Cetaphil, we believe meaningful consumer connections happen where culture and everyday life intersect. Through Spotify and I-Pop, we engaged with a younger audience in an authentic way while reinforcing our commitment to trusted dermatological care.”

The I-Pop Icons Live experience is another step in Cetaphil’s efforts to bring its dermatological expertise into consumer spaces where skincare conversations can feel more natural and relevant
